Education majors at App State are encouraged to find engagement opportunities and community through the Reich College of Education and across campus.

The Appalachian Community of Education Scholars (ACES) is a leadership program for future teachers focusing on mentoring, leadership, service, and professional development. 

Appalachian Educators Club

Appalachian Educators is a student organization that promotes teacher education and the Reich College of Education. This club is open to all education majors and anyone who is interest in supporting education. There are a variety of way to get involved, including service and volunteer opportunities, social and engagement opportunities, and professional development.

Education Peer Ambassadors

The Education Peer Ambassador (EPA) Program is a unique leadership opportunity for teacher education majors at App State. Selected students serve as the student face of teacher education and are leaders in the Reich College of Education. Ambassadors work to build relationships with current and prospective students by serving as student guides for all recruitment and teacher education events, They also serve in the James Center for Student Success and Advising and provide students with guidance about advising and planning their educational journey.
