Paige Sturgill leads and coordinates the Appalachian Community of Education Scholars (ACES) program, as well as collaborates with the James Center for Student Success and Advising staff to ensure that students within the program receive academic opportunities and real-world experiences in preparation for their future careers in education.
Sturgill earned her Bahelor of Science in elementary education and Master of School Administration both from App State. Prior to this position, she taught at Westwood Elementary School for 11 years — second grade, third grade, and the Academically and Intellectually Gifted (AIG) program.
